Earlier this week, I got a text from one of my mentors, Rob Rogers (@EM_Educator):

Inferior STEMI

Inferior STEMI

This would be at least a slightly anxiety provoking EKG on a shift but was much more worrisome when I saw the name at the top. Fortunately, Rob was quickly taken to a cardiac catheterization lab and PCI was successfully performed.

Rob has been one of the biggest inspirations for our site and has been incredibly supportive as we’ve developed and grown over the last year. His input, critique and advice has been unmeasurably valuable.Despite being in the hospital post-PCI, Rob still took the opportunity to educate the rest of us:

On a personal note, Rob has been integral in my development as an Emergency Physician, speaker, learner and educator.

Rob, from all of us at Core EM, we wish you a speedy recovery!
